Week of Autumn - Day #3 Sprinkles of Life

Hello, again. Glad you're here! I have another card, this time I used the Sprinkles of Life stampset. Stampin' UP! donates $3 to the Ronald McDonald House Charities for every Sprinkles of Life stamp set sold. Pair these stamps up with the Tree Builder Punch and you can make some pretty, awesome cards and donating to a great cause.

In case you missed it, here are links to Day #1 and Day #2.

I used Tangelo Twist cardstock for the base, layered Soft Suede after I embossed it with the Woodgrain textured embossing folder. On Very Vanilla cardstock I stamped the tree, leaves, and "thanks a bunch" sentiment with Soft Suede and Delightful Dijon. Then added the embellishments; Jewels Basic Rhinestone and straw bow (left over from a past Paper Pumpkin kit).

Holiday catalog goes live tomorrow! Just ask if you would like a copy. I will post the PDF link tomorrow morning.

See you tomorrow for Day #4!

Thank you for stopping by!

Week of Autumn - Day #2

Good morning! I have another card to share for Day #2. It's a Birthday card, nice to give to someone who has a birthday during the fall season. (if you missed Day #1, you can find it HERE)

I used Crumb Cake cardstock for the base. Also, used (again) the stamp from August Paper Pumpkin kit. I really love those stamps! Stamped the basket of flowers from Basket Full of Wishes stamp set. The birthday sentiment is from Fresh Fruit stamps. I added a strip of Fruit Stand DSP and a gold doily from the Metallic Foil Doilies. The inks are Soft Suede, Crumb Cake and Delightful Dijon.

Don't forget about the Paper Pumpkin promo. Subscribe before Sept. 10th and get October FREE! You can cancel anytime.

Also, if you don't have a catalog or a demonstrator, I would be happy to send you the holiday catalog. Just send me an email, obrienbs@cox.net.

See you tomorrow for another project share.

Week of Autumn - Stampin' UP! Holiday Shares and Ideas

Hello, are you ready for Fall? Autumn is my favorite time of year, kids are back to school, the weather is getting just a teeny-tiny bit cooler and I'm looking forward to getting together with friends and family. Starting today through Friday I'm going to be sharing projects that I made with some of the new products from the Holiday Stampin' UP! catalog. I think it's still a little too early for Christmas, so let's stick with the fall season.

If you would like to have a catalog, I would love to send you one. Just email me at obrienbs@cox.net with your mailing address.

Here is share #1, Thinking of You card. I used Totally Trees stamp set and Basket of Wishes stamp sentiment.

I also used Crumb Cake cardstock, Warmth and Cheer Paperstack; inks are Delightful Dijon, Cherry Cobbler and Crumb Cake. The ribbon is from August Paper Pumpkin.

Thanks for stopping by, I'll see you tomorrow with another share from the new catalog.

August Paper Pumpkin and BOGO

Hi, all! I'm back, with some cards to share that I made this week. It was a little difficult for me to write because of course, it's back to school, which is where I work and it has been a stressful week. Just to think about writing about cards was not happening. As much as I love my job, it has been challenging already this year.

Anyway here are some cards I made and posted on my Facebook page ...

These are cards I made with this month's Paper Pumpkin, Bold Botanicals. Very easy, because it's a kit and everything is included to make some awesome cards.

and here are a few alternate ideas made with the same kit ...

Paper Pumpkin has a BOGO sale going on right now! New subscribers will get the November kit for free! Sign up now and pay full price for your October kit, and get November Free!

Thank you for stopping by, I have more to say, it's just getting late.

I'm back cross-stitching

Well, not yet, but real soon because my daughter found a Halloween cross-stitch booklet that I thought I lost forever. So my plans are to ...
