Another Halloween treat bag and card

Okay, this is it for Halloween, but I just wanted to make a quick post and share two more projects I made last week. I used the Spooky Fun stamps and framelits again, to make this card and treat bag. This time I didn't use the Gift Bag Punch Board to make the treat bag, I used my Stampin' Trimmer (or you can use the Simply Scored Scoring Tool). As you can see in the photo the treat bag is wider at the bottom.
I was inspired to make this cute, little bag by Pootles Papercraft. You can find her instructions there, better than I can explain it here. It's such a cute bag and I look forward to making more like these, great for table party favors, too.

Thank you for stopping by and I'll be back with more paper crafts for you.

Season of Gratitude, Paper Pumpkin kit ideas

Hello, again. I'm back with more Paper Pumpkin alternative ideas for you. I've got two more cards, this time I used embossing folders to give it a little more texture. The first one I used the Petal Burst Textured Impressions embossing folder on Old Olive card stock.
and the second card I used the Birchwood Textured Impressions embossing folder on Very Vanilla card stock. I sponged ink on the leaves that are part of the Paper Pumpkin kit, and glued on the stamped pumpkins die cuts from the Spooky Fun stamp set and dies. The Happy Thanksgiving stamp is from last year's Paper Pumpkin kit.
I love this month's kit, I have more ideas to share before the next one comes in the mail. I hope you give Paper Pumpkin a try, there are many alternate ideas besides what's on the project sheet. Click here for more information

Blooms & Bliss Thinking of You

Hello, here again with a couple of quick and simple card using Basket of Wishes stamp set. My first card is with Blooms and Bliss DSP. Then I made a second card using the Petals & Paisleys DSP, a little different but just as easy. I used a little watercolor for the images, easy and fast. I love it, because I feel so creative, but it only takes to a minute to do!

Here is the project tutorial, Thinking of You card

You can get Blooms and Bliss DSP free with a purchase of 3 packages of  Designer Series Paper, details here.  Sale ends October 31st.

Here is the other card with Petals & Paisleys Specialty DSP.

More Halloween treat ideas

Hello, more treat holders and gift bag ideas. I made these mini treat bags without the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits, but you can be sure it's next on my list! Anyway, I used Halloween Night Specialty DSP, Spooky Fun stamp set and Halloween Scenes Edgelits, very simple to put together and perfect for small treats or maybe a gift card.

Of course, the Cookie Cutter  Builder Punch and the Cookie Cutter Halloween stamp set are too cute not to use. With these bags I used the Gift Bag Punch Board.

I added some die cuts and embellishments, great for party favors or even to give to your trick-or-treaters. So easy! Although, the other day I had to practice using the punch board because I kept forgetting how to use it. I ended up with a bunch of gift bags!

One more week left to save with Stampin' UP! Designer Series Paper. Click here to see and shop online.

Paper Pumpkin - September 2016

I'm a  little behind here on Paper Pumpkin shares, but I made these a few weeks ago. So adorable!
Something Good To Eat

They're plastic test tubes that you can fill with candy or any small items and then decorate and give to your family or friends. Here are a few alternate ideas with this month's kit:

I work at an elementary school and we usually make a service project  during this time of year for the "meals on wheels" program in our area. These are some bookmark/tags that I'm preparing for the children to put together. I'm keeping it real simple!

I'm back cross-stitching

Well, not yet, but real soon because my daughter found a Halloween cross-stitch booklet that I thought I lost forever. So my plans are to ...
