I bought her a mini sewing machine from Sears.com that she really wanted, unfortantely it didn't arrive until the day after her birthday. So when she came home this weekend she was able to open the box and play with it. Another cute gift, I had a chance to sew on this little machine and it is definately not a "toy". It's a great portable sewing machine. I'm thinking about getting the pink one for myself. I'm so glad she wants to learn how to sew, now that she has mastered, knitting, cross-stitching, and crocheting. What's next?

Still here
Our dd turned 21 last weekend! Wow, where did the time go? I still can remember the day she was born, being in the hospital, when my dh said "a girl!" He really thought we were going to have a boy, but so happy we had a girl! Anyway, without getting too mushy, it was a time I shall never forget, she was (and still is) a sweet "angel". Anyway, we drove up to Long Beach and took her out to dinner and gave her one of her gifts, a Scurvy Cruiser by Paul Frank. It's so cute!
