Iced Coffee recipe card

recipe iced coffee-001, originally uploaded by tweetysnest.
Just a quick post for today. It's been a busy, hectic week. I haven't done as much crafting as I would like to this week, unless you count creating on my laptop with My Digital Studio. I have been making recipe cards and printing them out. They came out so cute, quick and easy, too! This recipe is really good if you like iced coffee. My daughter found it on Pinterest and we love it!

I have other recipe cards printed that I'll share in a few days, plus more cards!

Given enough coffee . . . .

Hello again! Here's a card I made with the Perfect Blend Stamp Set. I love these stamps! I've had them for quite awhile, but haven't had a chance to use them until I saw this adorable card at Julia Loves 2 Stamp, thank you Julia! I made it a little differently, just a little. I wanted to use the Autumn Spice Designer Series paper again, which I don't have the actual papers, but I was able to print the patterns on cardstock and it came out perfect! I used the patterned paper for the coffee cozy. Coffee cups are stamped with Baked Brown Sugar ink on Whisper White Cardstock. I cut the coffee cups, which was very easy and doesn't have to be perfect, then mounted on Early Espresso cardstock and Very Vanilla card base. I used the Labels Collection Framelit die cut on my Big Shot for the sentiment, sponged the edges, added Candy Dots . . . . and that was it. Very easy!!

Thanksgiving card, another hybrid

Hello again! I made this card over the weekend on My Digital Studio. I want to make some Thanksgiving cards this year and I thought knowing me I better get started now! I love this time of year, the colors, the food and especially getting together with family again. This card was very easy, I used the Autumn Spice Digital Kit, the acorn and sentiment also comes with the kit. I designed it (many paper choices), printed it and cut and layered it on Chocolate Chip cardstock, then layered on Whisper White cardstock base. Easy enough to print the sentiment on Whisper White cardstock and cut with the Framelits Labels Collection using my Big Shot die cut machine.

I love My Digital Studio! Being able to create new and different projects every time is fun and addicting! Here is the link to the MDS free trial. Have fun being creative!!

Gingham Garden cards

I made these two cards last month to have on hand for friends or relatives. Very easy to make, I found a similar card on Pinterest and sort of based the first one from that. The second one is a hybrid card which I used the Kind and Cozy stamp brush set with My Digital Studio and then embellished it with Gingham Garden washi tape, Floral Fusion die cuts and Jewel Basic Rhinestones. I love My Digital Studio! I find myself playing with the software and making cards more than the regular way. Maybe because it's so easy to download and start designing and printing right away.

Stamps - Sweet Esssentials, Gingham Garden stamp brush set
Paper - Gingham Garden DSP, Whisper White, Summer Starfruit, Midnight Muse

Best of Autumn Stamp Set

Before I forget here is the "Best of" stamp set for September.

This "Best of" stamp set includes 5 images, including a never-before seen image, and is priced at $14.95.

While we are releasing just one "Best of" stamp set per month (with a new theme each month), all of   the "Best of" sets will be available until March 31, 2014.

All "Best of" stamp sets are available in Clear-Mount only.

Item number for Best of Autumn (134390).

As part of our 25-year anniversary celebration, we're bringing back some of our favorite stamp images from the last quarter century and combining them into 12 sets, which will release-one set per month-during 2013. Even better, along with some great classic images, each "Best of" set will also include a never-before-seen image!

I haven't received mine yet, can't wait until I do! I'm excited to use them in cards and journals. My favorite time of year!

Happy Labor Day!

Good morning! It's been a crazy week and weekend, today I'm going to try to catch up before going back to work tomorrow. I think it's been crazy week because it's been hot and very humid, seems like I had a lot to do, but wasn't in the mood to do it. So crafting has taken a little bit of a back seat, but I did make a couple of cards this morning, which I will share later ... I'm going to start  my Season of Style This and That Journal (132277), it's more like a planner for the holidays, but knowing me I need to start early because I always wait until the last minute to send cards, buy gifts, etc. Hopefully my journal will help me to not do that!

Thank you for stopping by and I'll be back.

I'm back cross-stitching

Well, not yet, but real soon because my daughter found a Halloween cross-stitch booklet that I thought I lost forever. So my plans are to ...
