Vintage Workbasket Magazines

These are just a few magazines I received from my Mom last week, they're from my sister-in-law, Bev. I think either she was given these or she purchased from an estate sale, actually it's a shoebox full of them! She was going to get rid of them, but I told her to send them to me! I'm not sure what I'm going to do with them, but it's fun looking through them. I have random issues from 1953 through 1980.

Nostalgic! I love finding really old newspapers in drawer bottoms and found heaps under wooden floor boards of a house being demolished. The ads were very enlightening and some articles about mundane life in the 30's were quite interesting too!
