Yes, I finally made something. I'm sorry such a horrible picture, but it was late afternoon and the window is facing north, so not such a great picture. Actually, I did make something else a few weeks ago, but I was in such a hurried state and luckily a very simple project - two men's sized travel shoe bags. In fact I made it in such a rush that I didn't have time to put in the drawstring, let alone take a picture! Since then, my husband has been away on a business trip in Europe and he'll be home next week. It will be three weeks that we've been apart :(. In the meantime I've been busying myself by going through all my crafty and sewing stuff. I have so much that I'm a little embarrassed to write about, but I will tell you that I've either have to get rid of my UFO's or finish them, hmmm.

Anyway, back to my mug rug, snack mat, oversized coaster, what ever you want to call it, I really like it. It fits perfectly on the side of my laptop and keeps my drink or snacks in order, not messy. I used scraps, of course, and some fancy stitching on the seams (a little hard to see). I originally was going to make another potholder, but after reading about mug rugs and how useful they can be, I added another strip of fabric and "voila"!

Thank you for stopping by! Have a wonderful weekend!

Hello, I'm Back

and no longer a Stampin' UP! demonstrator. It's a good thing, as much as I like sharing papercrafting and products, I found it hard ...
